Exemplary Leadership Programme

Join us to learn more about the ELP.

Developed by a team of expert school leaders and educationalists, the Exemplary Leadership Programme has been designed to help school leaders of all settings to build their school leadership knowledge in specific domains:

  1. Establishing and embedding exemplary behaviour and an exemplary school culture.
  2. Working with subject leaders to develop a knowledge-rich curriculum.
  3. Ensuring that curriculum is enacted brilliantly, grounded in what we know works and respecting subject disciplines.

Christ the King is a very successful primary school and the lead school of the programme. They’re supported by St Martin’s, a remarkable secondary school on the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border. St Martin’s is also home to the Midlands Knowledge Schools Hub and the DI Hub.

The ELP team is strengthened by the expert knowledge of our tutors, a mix of practising school leaders and educationalists. The team includes Tom Bennett, Christine Counsell, David Didau, Tom Sherrington and Sonia Thompson among many others.
