Teacher Development Trust and Chartered College of Teaching launch new CPD Partnership to support leadership of teacher development

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Chartered College of Teaching to support individuals to become local and national champions of leading teacher development.

This partnership provides a fantastic new pathway for individuals to progress from our flagship TDT Associate Qualification in CPD Leadership and gain recognition towards Chartered Status. The TDT Associate Qualification in CPD Leadership includes critical engagement with research, peer review and an in-school project to evaluate and refine the leadership, culture and process of CPD within participant’s schools.

By completing this six-month programme, participants can gain Recognition of Prior Certified Learning (RPCL). This will give 20 credits towards Chartered Status and exemption from the Development of Teaching Practice Award on the Chartered Teacher (Leadership) pathway.

“We are absolutely delighted to deepen our long-standing partnership with the Chartered College of Teaching through this exciting new CPD partnership. It provides a fantastic new pathway for individuals to progress from our flagship TDT Associate Qualification in CPD Leadership and gain recognition towards Chartered Status. This partnership reconfirms our commitment to the importance of an independent, strong, and respected professional body at the heart of our profession. We look forward to continuing to work with the Chartered College to support the development of effective and evidence-informed CPD leadership across the education sector.”
