Manchester Enterprise Academy
Coaching – all staff have the opportunity to be coached, or be involved in coaching. This created a large amount of staff buy-in, despite lots of outside pressures from Ofsted. Coaching was used to improve the quality of teaching and learning at Manchester Enterprise and deliver improvements in outcomes for students.
Hellesdon High School
These documents are an example of the work leaders have been doing to improve the visibility and clarity around the CPD available to staff to support career development.
Hellesdon have been working with their LSAs and SENCO to create a career map for support staff. Please note that some elements are specific to the area (Norwich, e.g. Titan training), and this document was created in careful consultation with a focus group of LSAs and the SENCO so should be used to gain insight for how to shape career pathways, and not used directly.
