Louise Worgan

Design and Delivery Lead

What’s your role at TDT?

I design and facilitate professional learning that empowers teachers and leaders to grow and thrive. My work blends research-informed design with real-world delivery – whether that’s creating engaging online modules, continuously improving our programmes, or coaching leaders to build effective professional development in their schools. I thrive on the dialogue and collaboration that come from 1:1 coaching, and I’m passionate about turning evidence into accessible, impactful learning that makes a genuine difference in classrooms and communities.

Why is the work important to you?

Schools are crucial in giving young people the tools to thrive and succeed in life. Yet, schools are complex environments with unique challenges that teachers and leaders must navigate. In my role, I get to work with brilliant school leaders and help them to find smart, meaningful ways to support and grow their staff, and give every pupil the best chance to succeed. It’s about helping schools tackle real challenges and build a culture where teachers feel confident, supported, excited to keep learning and ultimately flourish.

What’s your career been like?

Over 17 years in state secondary schools, my work has focused on improving teaching and learning so that every pupil can access a high-quality education. I’ve held a range of curriculum and pastoral leadership roles, including as a Teaching and Learning Specialist, and have always valued the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues to strengthen practice. As Deputy Director of Sixth Form, I led strategic initiatives that raised attainment and enhanced pedagogy across the school, including designing and delivering research-informed CPD and leading Collaborative Action Research projects on retrieval, academic challenge, and effective intervention.

What do you do outside of TDT?

Outside of TDT you can find me rollerskating, doing yoga, taking my adorable pug for a walk, or bingeing a good TV series!
