What are some current or previous job/voluntary roles you would like to mention?

Arvi is a member of the Investment Committee and Senior Leadership of Cain International (“Cain”), a global investment firm. He has more than 20 years of investment experience across 20 countries. Previously, Arvi was Co-founder & CEO of Blackbrook Capital, which merged with Cain in 2024. Prior to that, he was Head of European Investments at W. P. Carey. Arvi holds an MEng in Materials Science, Economics & Management from Oxford University and he is a reserve officer in the Finnish Navy.

What’s something you’re passionate about in terms of the work TDT do or the world of education generally?

A strong education system, that offers every child the opportunity for success, is critical for a country’s long-term prospects. I hugely value TDT’s independent initiatives to support and develop teachers – the backbone of the entire system.
