Staff collaboration

Research shows that effective professional learning is collaborative. Both teaching and non-teaching staff should collaborate regularly. This could mean sharing practice, joint planning or peer observation. It is crucial that time is given over to these processes.

The most effective forms of collaborative professional learning are collaborative enquiry or Lesson Study.
