Reports toHead of Delivery

The Teacher Development Trust (TDT) is an established and fast-growing charity based in London that is dedicated to improving the educational outcomes for children by raising the quality of teachers’ professional development.

Focusing initially on the delivery of our suite of National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) and then on our wider education and training offer, we are now seeking a dedicated Programme Manager to help ensure that the full range of  programme activity is completed on time, to a high standard, and with the needs of the participants at the heart of our plans.  This includes coordinating the timing of the production of new content and the improvement of existing content, the alignment with TDT’s digital strategy, and the supporting infrastructure for delivery of courses to participants via our delivery partners across the country.

This is an exciting opportunity in a fast-growing and influential education charity. We’re looking for a proactive, confident communicator with an understanding of the education landscape to join our team in supporting our existing services and programmes. We have an excellent track record of developing staff within the charity, as well as staff who have taken their careers into schools, other charities, and the public sector. • Maintain the risk register for all NPQ-related activity, reporting to the Head of Delivery, the Director of Education and the Board of Trustees as required
  • Work across the wider organisation, and with external partners as required (including the DfE) to manage dependencies

  • A structured approach to the gathering and presentation of complex information
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with project management platforms e.g. Asana
