My role involves supporting the effective running of general operations at TDT. This includes working with colleagues both internally and externally. An important part of my role is to support with promoting a positive work culture and to ensure everyone at TDT feels supported, so that we can continue to work in our smart, heart and humble way.
Why is the work important to you?
I am passionate about the work TDT does, through it’s advocacy and programmes, to bring awareness to creating a positive learning experience and culture for all students. I feel this is vital to ensuring good outcomes for students.
What’s your career been like?
I worked for a charity supporting victims of forced marriage and honour-based abuse and supported the general running of the helpline service. I also provided training around these issues which included sessions in schools and colleges to students and staff.
What do you do outside of TDT?
I am currently completing a counselling course and I am very interested in mental health and wellbeing, and supporting people with this. I love walking and collecting vintage things!
