Mathilda Pynegar

Mathilda Pynegar is a communications professional with a strong foundation in education and a passion for driving positive change in the public sector. Her degree in Education from the University of Cambridge developed a deep appreciation for evidence-led teacher training and professional development – a pillar of the Teacher Development Trust’s work. Though initially aspiring to become a teacher, Mathilda’s own challenging experience with teacher training reinforced her desire to drive school improvement and better outcomes for pupils through effective teacher development.

After stepping away from the classroom, Mathilda worked in marketing before transitioning into the public sector, championing equality and access first as communications lead for Children and Young People and Music Education at Arts Council England and now as Strategic Communications Business Partner at the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
