Governors are kept informed of CPD

In addition to their own CPD, it is important that governors are kept well informed of CPD in the school.

  1. It is important that governors are regularly informed of what CPD is taking place and how the CPD budget is being spent.
  2. It is more important that governors understand how important CPD is to pupil outcomes, and have some understanding of what makes effective CPD.
