The Teacher Development Trust were delighted to host this regional event in Durham. Following the release of the DfE CPD Standards, this event focussed on how to implement the standards and the principles behind them.
The day included contributions from school leaders at Skipton High School for Girls and Cramlington Learning Village, from Professor Rob Coe and from Bridget Clay at TDT.
The event included:
– How the new Standard can be used to improve the design and implementation of teacher development.
– Steps that schools can take to use the Standard as a powerful tool for school improvement
– The new role of CPD Providers and how they can develop their practice to align with the new approach.
The event also featured live sketch-note artistry from the talented Oliver Caviglioli (Teacher How 2s).
